Volunteer Pipeline
1. Submit an Application
2. Review Applications
3. Ministry Review
4. Verify Requirements
5. Approved Volunteers
6. Rejected Volunteers

The final stage of the Pipeline is to assign approved volunteers to a job! At this point you can assign the volunteer to any job within the ministry - not just to the one for which they applied.

To assign approved volunteers

  1. Click People > Volunteer Pipeline > Approved Volunteers. The list of approved volunteers for the selected application appear.
  2. Optionally, select a different volunteer application from the Application drop-down list. You may also select a specific job opportunity from the Opportunity drop-down list. The list filters to display only approved volunteers for the selected application and job.
  3. Optionally, click the Notes link to read any notes entered during other stages of the Pipeline. You may also make any notes about this job opportunity and volunteer if necessary. Remember that these notes are only available in the Pipeline and from reports after the individual has completed the Pipeline.
  4. Click Assignment beside a job in the Volunteer Opportunity column. The Staffing Assignments form appears.
  5. Make any changes to the drop-down lists to ensure the volunteer has the correct assignment.
  6. Click Save. The Approved Volunteers list appears and you can assign additional volunteers as needed.

The person you just assigned has now completed the Volunteer Pipeline for the selected job and volunteer application.
